The room was perfect, extremely well cleaned every day, and the views were amazing too. We stayed for 4 nights and ate there for 3 of them as the food was so good. Marlena is a wonderful cook. The rooms and common areas are picturesque and should be visited by Arch Digest. Well appointed and furnished to relax the mind. The staff is top notch. Not too assertive but very attentive and respectful. The restaurant options have a nice variety from bar to Michelin. This is what you want. A kitchen that can provide delicious bites on the go and the more exquisite dishes for that special moment. We personally, loved the breakfast and infinity pool in the mornings, property amenities during the day (gym, vineyard, spa), and bar/restaurant options in the evening. A beautiful oasis to call home base if you are looking to stay put in Douro valley or venture out into the countryside. ~ Cheers."

"Quinta Nova is a beautiful Quinta in spectacular surroundings. It is very comfortable and the service is impeccable - probably the best welcome of any hotel I have ever stayed at. The restaurant was also excellent - with enough choice for 3 fabulous meals even though the menu didn’t change during our 3 night stay. The walking trail around the vineyards is superb and a real highlight of our stay. "
